The Waldwick Volunteer Ambulance Corps is in desperate need of EMTs (Emergency
Medical Technicians) for all hours, day and night.
Who will you call when you need an ambulance and no one comes???
Yes, we agree... to become an EMT requires a great deal of schooling.
But think of those who have done it just to volunteer their services for
you or a family member.
Think not what your ambulance corps can do for you, BUT what you can
do for your ambulance corps. Most of all, think of the knowledge that
you will gain to help yourself, a family member, a friend, or meybe even
a complete stranger in need.

Below you will find the projected cost to taxpayers if a Paid Service
was needed.
In 2001, Waldwick Ambulance Corps responded to approximately 550 calls.
Based on $400.00 per call, it would have cost the town $220,000.00.
When our volunteers are available, they care. The question is, do you?
We volunteer because your life depends on us. Help keep these Volunteer
Services alive, and help keep taxes down. VOLUNTEER!
When you see a flashing Red or Blue light approaching you, please, give
that person the courtesy of the road. They could be responding to help
your loved one.
